Travel with Aaltje

|
From above right: a local team of guides to host a Seabourn visit to Sakhalin; six intrepid explorers on a cruise on the Taifun through the Kuril Islands; visiting an Even reindeer herd in Yakutia with s small group of Geo-Ex passengers; organizing and operating an ecological cruise on the Amur River; visiting Iturup with a group of British travelers hosted by Noble Caledonian; and hosting a pre. Cruise excursion for Zegrahm of the Nivkh people of Sakhalin. |
Aaltje is an intrepid explorer, always looking for places in the
world where few have traveled before. One of the skills Aaltje always
takes with her is the ability to feel at home in any place where she
lands by working with local people within local circumstances. The other
skill or one could perhaps state that it is an inherent need, is to
match her travelers' interest into involvement with local people, and
local experiences, which serve to heighten cultural awareness on both
sides.
Having been a pioneer in Russia's tourism development, and having
traveled widely worldwide, managing many tours and cruises both of her
own and those of well known cruise and tour companies, makes travel with
Aaltje , educational and most of all extremely organized. One of the
highest goals in Travel with Aaltje escorted cruise/tours is to leave
any place on his earth as we found it, and to share our common goal to
protect and preserve nature for those who live in and around it, for
future generations.
Inherent in traveling with Aaltje are the possibilities of
interesting conversations, added excursions that focus on global issues.
But most of all traveling with Aaltje is fun, interesting, and a
learning experience in many different ways.
Please join Aaltje on the following
