Depart from Los Angeles, cross the International Dateline.

Thu, May 10
You will arrive in Hong Kong mid evening and you will be transferred to the Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel in Kowloon.

Fri, May 11
Enjoy a morning city tour of Hong Kong, including Stanley's Market, and Repulse bay. Lunch and the afternoon are on your own and in the late afternoon you will be boarding the "Spirit of Oceanus".

Sat, May 12
We cruise through the Taiwan Strait to the colorful harbor of Xiamen on the island of the same name on the mouth of the Jiulong River. We transfer to a nearby islet that is called Gulang, a heavily forested island that is called "the Garden on the Sea." We spend the day on the island. Mid evening the"Spirit of Oceanus" departs.

Sun, May 13
Today is the day to get acquainted with life aboard while you cruise through the East China Sea. Our on board lecturers will expound on the region's history, and culture.

Mon, May 14
We cruise up the Yangtze River to Shanghai. A five-hour city tour plus lunch is included. Enjoy the city on your own in the afternoon.

Tue, May 15
This day you can enjoy touring Shanghai on your own or take the optional tour to Zhouzhuang, a 1,000-year-old Chinese village. Around mid evening the "Spirit of Oceanus" will be under way again.

Wed, May 16
We enjoy a day in the yellow Sea while we are educated about the history and culture of Korea.

Thu, May 17
We arrive in Pohang, South Korea and tour the ancient Korean capital of Kyongju. You will also visit Pulguksa, one of Korea's most famous temples. We continue to a Korean craft village and enjoy a lunch accompanied by Korean folklore dancing. You continue your sightseeing tour in the afternoon and return early evening to the "Spirit of Oceanus"

Fri, May 18
Enjoy a leisurely day of cruising through the Korea Strait and the Sea of Japan on your way to Vladivostok.

Sat, May 19
Vladivostok is the primary naval, commercial and fishing port of the Russian Far East. It is also the terminus of the Trans Siberian Railroad. Today you will enjoy sightseeing in this fascinating city. In the afternoon, you have free time to enjoy the city and to enjoy some of its interesting art galleries.

Sun, May 20
Today is another cruising day through the Sea of Japan to Hokodate on Hokkaido Island, Japan's most northern Island.

Mon, May 21
This morning the "Spirit of Oceanus" docks at Hakodate on Hokkaido's Island. We pass through customs and than travel by motor coach to Sapporo. En route you will visit the Shikotsu National Park and Onuma Lake. In the afternoon we have a sightseeing tour of Sapporo. Overnight in the Keio Plaza Hotel.

Tue. May 22
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Tokyo. You will enjoy sightseeing on your way to the hotel. Overnight at the Keio Plaza Intercontinental Hotel.

Wed, May 23
Transfer to the Narita Airport for your flight to Los Angeles.
