Plum Shape Amber Stones Necklace Ancient amber stones that have been handshaped and smoothed make up this
stunning necklace. These golden translucent stones are studded with debris
and bits from ancient trees that gave birth to these stones. Lots of bark,
moss and some tiny insects have been forever trapped in time in nature's
organic preservative - amber. Hand strung and knotted between each stone is
another indication of the high quality. Necklace measures 24 1/2" long, with
the stones graduating in size from 3/4" at the clasp to 1 1/4" at the center.
Weight is 66 grams, which is light for such a dramatic necklace. If it was
made with glass or clay beads it would weight much more. One of the amazing
qualities of amber is that it conducts energy and will never feel hot or cold
on your skin. It is also light enough to float on top of salt water. Cost: $110.00

Necklace with Cherry Amber Ovals This piece combines two colors that occur naturally; translucent medium honey
and cherry red. Crafted by a Russian artisan skilled at working with amber
stones, this necklace is a total of 19 1/2" long, including the easy-to-use
screw-in clasp in matching color. The cherry amber large oval in the center
measures 2" long. The center amber bar is a bit over 2 1/4" long. The honey
nuggets range from 3/8" to 5/8". This is a reproduction is an Art Deco
design from the Twenties. A unique style that will make a bold statement in a
natural medium that is perhaps 50 million years old. Cost: $55.00

Cherry Amber Earrings These ovals are 1 1/4" high and about 1" across. They are a little over 1/4"
thick. They scan a little darker than they appear on the ear. The mounting
is not solid on the back - more like a frame - so some light can show through
and the color is very pretty. They come from the amber workshops in
Kaliningrad, so you can be assured they are genuine amber. Mounting and
earwire are covered with a gold wash. Cost: $24.00
