Yelizovo Tour Service

Director: Yelena Yaravaya, Manager: Martha Madsen

This agency is fortunate enough to not only have a very competent Russian Director, born in Palana, the headquarters of the Koryak region, but also a US manager, formerly from Homer, Alaska. These two have been very involved in working with smaller companies to raise their awareness of how to access foreign markets, but also how to satisfy the foreign client. In an industry and a region dominated by government-supported companies, they are a breath of fresh air. And not only that, having worked with Harvard clients and receiving more than satisfying remarks, their program offerings are exquisite, wonderful and well managed.

Two years ago I met both partners of Yelizovo Tour Service, Yelena Yarovaya and Martha Madsen during a series of marketing seminars I presented on behalf of their company. These two women have formed a company that is renown for its customer service and excellent organization.

Synergy, stewardship and service embody YTS's mission. Working with a diverse and friendly group of people and pulling the strengths of local tour firms, they combine expertise, professional skills, enthusiasm, and dedication to sharing the beauty and cultures of Kamchatka with visitors form other counties. This synergy provides greater stewardship and understanding of Kamchatka's cultural heritage through tours and custom travel arrangements with a recreational, educational and ecological mind set.
